Black & White Showstopper

Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege (through acclaimed builder, Carbine and Associates) to photograph this incredible Tennessee Farmhouse a couple of times. It has a unique charm and aura - due to the distinctive design, and the perfect use of black and white (inside and out) to highlight its features.

The home was built with family living, friends gathering, and hospitality, as a priority. Private spaces for work and relaxation abound, including a laundry-butler pantry combination that is the best ever! It’s a fav hangout for everyone. Oh, and the porches — there are four of them! The front porch is truly worthy of holding its own relaxing party, but 3 more are to be found in the back of the home, overlooking the pool and surrounding view of hills and fields.

An elegant kitchen with classic gold accents completes the large open living area, using a calming paint color that has become my personal favorite. With a gray base, it also has an aqua-blue tint that was a beautiful custom mix. The kitchen is the co-anchor opposite a stunning fireplace-bookcase design in the living area.

Be sure to check out the stunning tuxedo master bath in black and white! You never forget this one, with amazing artistry in herringbone black tile work! The gold accents are the perfect cufflinks and complete this dreamy retreat for the owners.
