Golden Engagement in Franklin, Tennessee

In June (2018), we moved to Franklin, Tennessee from Florida, and this beautiful engagement session is my first in the woodsy hills that we now call home. If I’m honest, it’s been an adjustment to “find my style” in this setting, because I’ve been shooting on the beach for the last 10+ years. However, I have settled into “what I feel” when I shoot, here in Franklin, and this the end result. 

Frankly, I could not stop snapping these two, and we were shooting until the very last bit of light would allow it. Thank you Chase and Lauren, for being real troupers and enduring the almost 3 hour session!  It was fall, y’all (just a few weeks ago, but winter already) - and all the golden leaves and light had me under their spell.

I believe they are the most photographed couple outside of royalty. Everyone wants to photograph them - and you’ll see why! They are so engaging, warm, real and laid back - not to mention, gorgeous. I’m honored to be a small part of this most wonderful time of their lives.

I’m thrilled that it’s beautiful in these hills and valleys. The landscape is definitely different from the beach, but a welcomed change -  and capturing memories is going to be so enjoyable, right here.
